Take care of school-age children
Prioritize and organize a to-do-list. Write down the tasks that you and your wards need to do, and prioritize them according to their importance. This will help you gain clarity on the content, place, and time of your tasks and allow you to prepare ahead. Creating a schedule can also help you stay organized and reduce stress.
Reserve time to rest and relax. It's important to set aside time for yourself and the children to rest and recharge. This can help you stay focused, energized, and positive throughout the day. Try practicing mindful breathing, taking a relaxing shower, or listening to music to help you unwind.
Accept the emotions and give a hug. Starting a new routine, school, or social circle can be overwhelming and cause anxiety for both you and your wards. You can give them a hug (or ask them to give you a hug), help them to calm down, and then help them make schedules and relax.
